Hi all, preparations are well underway for our debut MVAT, our HQ will be at the club's Hutcross facility on the Cavan/Monaghan border just outside Cootehill.
The track will play host to the trailer park, HQ offices and 4 tests which will be repeated 3 times during the day In total there will be 9 tests with 5 repeated twice out on the road. Coordinates for the Track are N54 03.551 W06 58.332

Please fuel up before you get to the event but with road miles being less than 20 total. Lunch will be provided during the day on the route in the Gallonreagh house in Maudabawn.

If you're planning to compete could I ask that you pop the secretary a completed entry form to aid with paperwork on the morning.

The tests will be mainly of a loose gravel/tarmac mix with a few farms and a field test involved. Tests will generally be of a smooth nature.

Good interest in this event which is only 90 minutes from the centre of Dublin.
With a full lunch included in the entry this event is proving to be great value for money with 22 tests currently in the schedule all within a 6 miles radius.

With the event aiming on smiles per miles the layout of tests will be straightforward enough for novice but with challenges to test the most seasoned competitors accuracy and skill.

A big thank you to Ruaidhrí Nash and the Cavan Motor Club team for running a great event today! What a great venue Huts Cross is.

Great tests and efficient marshalls. Have to make special mention of the fantastic lunch put on for all.

Hopefully some of the many first timers for multi venues will be back for more.

Look forward to Cavan's next event.

Well done John Nolan on the win!
