This excellent event will take place on Sunday 25th Jan 2013 at the Mondello Park Circuit, Kildare.

Avail of the opportunity to enjoy the magnificent Mondello International & Rallycross circuits. The emphasis will be on fun flowing simple tests that will suit all levels.

The surfaces used are, for the most part, smooth and transmission friendly so you can bring out your pride and joy confident that any suffering it might sustain will be entirely down to you.

Please arrive as early as possible for sign-on. Your compliance would be greatly appreciated. No sign-on after drivers briefing at 09:15. Sign-on opens at 08:00

Please don't arrive to sign-on without knowing your assigned number as this will slow the process.

Important note: Running order is not a seeded entry list. Experience and double drivers will be dispersed throughout the field to speed things along.

We would like to thank the Management & Staff at Mondello Park for their help & support in hosting this TDC event

Please note that that as per autotest regulations a roll hoop needs to be fitted if you intend to drive a convertible without a hardtop.

Regs have only been released a few days ago but this event is already getting a great response from competitors with 25 entries received so far. I'm sure this weekend will see a few of the regular MVAT competitors pulling their cars out of winter hibernation for a blast around Mondello next weekend, so get the entries in quick!

The mighty Minis I'm sure will be the hot topic of the day as Eamonn Byrne, Eddie Peterson and James Wilson are set to have a closely contested battle on the unforgiving rallycross sections. The notorious 'Starlet class' no doubt will also have some hot competition in the form of Declan Hendrick, Richard Meeke and Brian Kingston, who is bringing something just a little different out to play this year. Eoin Longworth as ever has rallied the troops and is bringing an army from the midlands, they will no doubt be flat to the boards from the very beginning. Some more notable competitors will be the ever improving James Mansfield who will be giving his Mini's new engine a good stretch for the first time since last November, as well as Alex Lyons who I'm sure won't disgrace himself after his respectable finish in TDC's Production Car Trial last summer. So far we're a bit light on the MX-5 front but Piers MacFheorais and Robert Woodside will no doubt enjoy looking out the side windows of their cars as the tackle the slippy Tarzan sections of Mondello.

One point to keep in mind for this one is that as there are no public road sections in this event, cars DO NOT have to be taxed and NCD'd, but must be road worthy.

Please get those entries and payments in sooner rather than later as we need to seed all competitors and double drivers to ensure the smooth running of the event on the day.

Philip.

The entry list for this one just keeps growing, and it's looking like a nice selection of metal from Minis to Midgets and everything in between will be in attendance.

Since the last update Eamonn Byrne has defected to a Starlet where he will now surely have a close battle with Liam Cashman and Declan Hendrick throughout the day. Father and Daughter team Stephen and Zoe Briggs will be out in their MX-5 where the weather will hopefully be kind enough to warrant a roof-less event, albeit wrapped up very warm! Mark Walsh has only just finished his winter re-fit of his immaculate Escort and will be keen to swap times with Blessington Escort maestro Martin Nugent, with son Mark sure to have a competitive day as always in his Starlet. Lee Deane will also be joining Eoin Longworth's 'Birr Mafia' for an exciting day on the tests.

We're down to the last few days before the event so those who intend to compete please get those last minute entries in as seeding will need to be done prior to the event.

Philip.

I will post a seeded entry list in the next day or 2 with final instructions and tests. Nothing too unfamiliar from previous years you'll be glad to hear.
