Following a discussion yesterday (25th October) it was agreed that there would be 5 rounds to the Beginners/Novice Championship ending with the Howard Wilde Memorial Autotest on the 21st of November. Best 4 of the 5 rounds will decide the final positions and awards will be presented at the Howard Wilde Memorial Autotest event.

Hi Piers,

Don't mean to be picky, but why did I only get 8 championship points for saturday? I thought it was 10 points for 1st in class

Hi Rory, 10 points for 1st in class so long as there are 3 or more in class. As you were in a class all by yourself the max you can get is 8 points... There is no ideal system really...

Hi Rory, I have been thinking about what you said and the class is 'F' for all those taking part as beginners. I have now updated the Championship points table to reflect that correction...

Congratulations to Damien and Ger, both wins were well deserved. Also, thanks to all competitors and organisers involved with the Beginners/Novice championship, I had a great time competing this year.
