12 January:Peak Performance Autotest

I went up to Saintfield today with my brother, Adam, my dad, Peter and our friend Peter Snodden(him as in Scimitar). It was a two test event with a join-up at the end. We brought up our two starlets (Simon and Jimmy) up and I was double driving with Peter S and Adam was meant to be double driving with Peter G, but a car crash earlier in the week put a stop to that Sad

, so Peter S was a passenger with Adam and me as we are in the junior class and need a fully licensed driver in the car with us. Peter S spent the rest of the day going from car to car in his own version of musical chairs(how he didn't puke I don't know) Laughing

There was one test on VERY muddy gravel Very Happy

and the other on slippery tarmac. The tests were open and flowing and very enjoyable. The was a lot of competition in the junior class and especially between me and Adam as you would expect between brothers. Everyone in the class was only separated by a few seconds! It was a great day out in a really great location and the tests were brilliant! and when the two tests were joined up it was even better! with the change from gravel to tarmac halfway through the test! Thanks to Tony Patterson for use of the yard and thanks to the marshals and organizers for running a fantastic event! A great day out and I can't wait for the next one! Laughing
