Tks Stephen - there’s a lot in that!

in relation to the additional points for rounds a competitor officiates at, can you clarify -

- what roles constitutes ‘officiating?’ Is this just anyone who helps with an event or just time keepers?

- are these in addition to the best 8 rounds or counted as part of the best 8? (Assuming 10 or 11 championship rounds)

- if a competitor can earn these points in addition to regular points at an event they both compete and officiate at?

Clarification around the points to be awarded for officiating;

- To be awarded points for officiating will involve being "signed on" as an official for an event and carrying out duties such as, but not exclusively, signing competitors on, marshalling, time keeping, observing, compiling results, acting as one of the named officials on the regulations etc

- Any points awarded for officiating at an event can count as one of your best 8 counting scores (assuming 10 or 11 championship rounds), not in addition.

- Should anyone compete and officiate at the same event, their competing score will be the counting one. They will not be awarded points for officiating at that event.

I hope this answers Brian's queries above.
