Bonus Points for Officials |
|
A points reward system for helping at events has been introduced for 2023.
The points highlighted in red are the bonus points awarded to competitors who officiated at events.
Points for officials who have not competed in a TDC event in the last ten years are not displayed.
However, records of them all are kept so, if any official whose points are not included on the table competes in an event later in the year, their bonus points will appear retrospectively.

Latest championship positions are now posted.
Although 6 events are already complete, with 5 still to go out of a maximum of 8 to count, there's still plenty of opportunity to climb the rankings.
Next event is on 27th August, with details coming soon.

Check out how you finished in the full points table, via the link in the post above. Please note the file opens with the list of award winners, but there are two additional tabs outlining everyone’s individual points for each event and final position for both the overall and the autotest championships*, with the final tab listing the long list of organisers and helpers, without whom there would be no events. Points awarded for officiating, to those who also sometimes compete, are shown in red on the points table. The awarding of the prizes for the Championships will take place after the Club Autotest, in Woodside, on Friday evening, 7th June.
166 people competed in, and 97 people helped out at one or more of our 2023 events, so thank you sincerely for your support. Again this year, the biggest number of individual competitors was in the Beginners Class, at 61.
We are again very grateful to all those who make it possible to run our events – Landowners, Time Keepers, Marshalls, Results Teams, Printers, Chefs, Photographers, Test Designers, Club Trailer Towers, Set-up and Clean-up Crews and Officials.
Hopefully 2024 will be an equally successful and enjoyable year of motorsport. Full details of the championship and driver classifications to follow soon.
Hopefully we’ll see many of you at our next event, on Sunday 21st January in Mondello. Although the entry list is already full, championship points will be awarded for marshalling again in 2024.
We look forward to your continued support this year.
Stephen
*Ties have been decided based the higher result in the earliest event of the season.
