I would like to thank all of the participants in the Sporting Trial held In Charlesland.
To the Setup Crew who did trojan work over the last two weeks and who got a little bit wet yesterday.
To the observers who turned up today in their droves.
To the competitors who turned up.
Having laid out six good sections yesterday, an extra section had to laid out in order to determine the overall winner as four competitors ( Enda Byrne, Karen Fildes, Paul Needham & Percy Pennefather) had finished on 1 point each.
This led to an exciting climax to the days event as there had to be a second run off due to two competitors achieving the same mark on the first runoff.
