Those of you who have perused the December Turbine will have seen the photos kindly supplied by Peter Lynch. Since then he has given me some more. In addition, he has presented me with a pile of old magazines – random issues of Wheels (1966-1967) and Auto Ireland (1969-1982). I have put together a selection, including the images from the December Turbine, for your edification. You ought to be able to download these individually should you so wish.

Hi Piers, hope you're well. You drove very well on Sunday. Saw you going through the loose, very tidy indeed. Is there any chance you could do me a copy of the photo of Terry? That was his favourite competition car, he did everything in that, Circuit of Ireland, RAC, and he won the last ever race held in Dunboyne in that car (was his first time racing). Many thanks,

Fantastic pictures Piers, love that one of Stevie in the Rolo Mini!! Quick question, I am looking for colour (preferably) pics of Vivian Candy in the Marlboro/Captain America Imp. He raced it here from '78-'80ish but I am finding it difficult to get hold of any proper pics. I have spoken to many of the photographers of that era but no joy. I wonder if any TDC members can help?

I've got some of the televised test trials - held in Leopardstown racecourse in the 80s on vhs. Are they of any use to you guys? Dunno what the quality of them is going to be like after all this time, but they have most of the big names from the test trials from years ago.

The 1967 Saloon car race ( last race run ) at Dunboyne was won by Jack Fildes , Terry Power finished 4th, his lap of 82.72 mph was very good against the race prepared hornet and coopers ahead of him .
